Painting since 1971 in South Africa, England and the US. Have always tried to work in all mediums--pastel, oil and watercolor. Recently working at printmaking. Studied at Chestnut Hill College (figure drawing) 1962-63. Moved to South Africa in 1970 and briefly studied at U. Of Witswatersrand,, Johannesburg. Then in England at Church Stile Studio with Sherree Daines and Hazel Soan and St. Martins College of Art, London ( figure drawing) pleinair painting. Exhibited at Royal Portrait Society, the Pastel Society, and Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. Elected a Copley Artist in 1994. A Master Painter at the Cape Cod Art Association, and has 2 paintings in the permanent collection of the Cape Museum of Art. Received many awards including the Grumbacher Gold Medal in 1987. Represented in Galleries in New England and Washington DC.
