Deborah Dendler, American figurative sculptor, has exhibited her work in galleries and museums internationally (Canada, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Austalia and Singapore) and throughout the US. She has exhibited in over one hundred invitational and group exhibitions, most notably in the illustrious National Arts Club and the Salmagundi Club, NY, in which she has won numerous awards, including Best of Show and Awards for Artistic Excellence. Dendler has also been featured in many solo exhibitions and is the recipient of dozens of commissions and grants. Her work has been published on the cover of Animal Magazine, as well as in Duende, ArtAscent and ArtExhibeo literary magazines and in Door County Living Magazine, The Green Bay Press Gazette, and the Door County Almanac. She is an elected member of many prestigious artists organizations including the Copley Society, Academic Artists, American Artists Professional League, New England Sculptors Association and Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club.
Deborah Dendler has spent the last thirty five years drawing and making sculpture in clay and wax to be fired in her kiln or cast in bronze. When she isn’t drawing from life, loading the kiln, or building an armature, she’s sculpting.
