Since 1879, the Copley Society has remained a self-sufficient, nonprofit arts organization. It may come as a surprise to you that the Copley Society, despite its longevity, has no endowment fund. As a result, annual financial needs have been met through members’ dues, artwork sales, special fundraising events, and donations from our supporters. Due to the recent severe budget cuts in the arts, we have relied upon patrons to support the exhibition programs and the educational outreach programming needs at Co|So. The Copley Society of Art is gearing up for our upcoming show, Shaken and Stirred! This juried exhibition aims to showcase Copley members who work in a variety of mediums and subject matter.
The Copley Society of Art (Co|So) is a non-profit organization committed to the advancement and promotion of its member artists. Dedicated to the
enjoyment of visual arts, the organization provides a platform for arts cultivation while engaging and educating the public. Artist membership is
comprised of contemporary and traditional artists admitted by a credentialed committee.
