THE ARTIST'S PROCESS

At the onset of the portrait project, Anne Stiles has the subject sit for photographs to be used in the creation of the portrait. Typically, several sittings are necessary. Anne is open to having the client see the painting as it progresses.

 THE FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT

For Anne, on third of the full amount is due as a deposit prior to commencement of the portrait, the remainder is due upon the completion of the portrait. Thirty-five percent of the total price is due if the commission is cancelled after the portrait has been completed. There is a price increase for additional figures and for an elaborate background.
