ARTIST'S PROCESS

Coni travels to place of client's choice for the initial sittings, either their home or office.

There are usually no more than two sittings of two hours each.  At the first sitting sketches and photographs will be completed and any special requests for backgrounds either indoors or outdoors will be noted.

Coni then returns to her studio where she creates the portrait.  Unless there is a specific request for a delivery date, turn around time is 9 months to a year.

A second sitting is scheduled with the client, when the portrait is near completion.  A week or two before the artist arrives a custom made frame which has been carefully selected to accent the portrait wll be shipped to the clients home.

During the final sitting, Coni checks the likeness and adds the final details, and afterward, the completed portrait is placed into the frame, ready to hang.

FINANCIAL AGREEMENT

A 50% deposit is required upon signing of the contract with the remainder due upon the portrait's completion.  Coni defines children as 16 years old and younger.  Sizes will vary according to the composition best suited to the clients requirements.

Prices are listed at a discount for the 2nd and 3rd figure when more than one subject is in the same portrait.

Procedure:   

  -Dates for sittings will be mutually agreed upon
  -Portrait will be started at place of client's choice
  -Additional sittings and completions planned accordingly
  -Artist ships a hand-made custom frame one week before final sitting.  Cost to client (cost price).  Clients are under no obligation to accept frame.
 
A deposit of 50% will be due in advance.  Balance due at completion of commission and acceptance by the client.
